Today Sam, Neil, Jamie and a guy from America went to Bonegi 02 for a PADI discovery dive. The PADI Discovery dive is an introduction to diving, it's all the basics needed and gives you a taste of what diving it all about. Neil let Sam, Jamie and myself do our own thing exploring around the Jap ship wreck :) i was pretty cool, we saw 3 sting rays! they such elegant and graceful creatures! they were about 1.5m in length and half a meter in width, with huge bulging eyes popping out the top of its head! they are so camouflaged on the sea bed that you only see them once you get really close until they glide gracefully away from you! if you're not paying attention this can be quite scary :p
Later on that evening i went to the yacht club to meet up with Jamie and Emily (very nice girl from England) to watch the rugby world cups opening game. Emily is a volunteer that works in the hospital (Number 9) in the pediatrics ward. it's very sad because they don't have the technology and equipment to treat 90% of the children that come in with problems. so they would put the kids in a ward for a week giving them pain killers and free food and then they have to discharge them with no treatments because there isn't any ;'( this brings a tear to my eye, i just wish i could do more to help...
After having a few drinks, we stumbled down the road to club extreme! man i love that place! they play international songs and local stuff. they have a dress code and you have to pay entrance so it eliminates scum :) i didn't spend a cent on drinks there =D everyone is just so friendly here that my night was free;) made it home at around 2am :) very cool night out ;)
sorry, no pictures today... the program i used to compress them to be able to put them on the net has expired :( I'm working on the problem and will try sort it out asap.
