136 Days

Hi All, before i start telling you about my week i just wanted to mention how ecstatic i am that my blog has reached an amazing 2000 views in only 34 posts! i want to thank you for: reading, posting comments and the awesome feed back i get from all you beautiful people! So thank you for enjoying my adventures with me =D

On Wednesday and Thursday this week i took 2 different sets of kids out on a discovery dive (no qualifications required). on Thursday i was lucky enough to take an underwater camera with me and took some amazing shots that you can see at the end of my blog. i really enjoyed these two days of this week because i got the most sensational feeling of appreciation from these kids. every time i would glance over to them to see if they were OK they would just give me this radiant smile! One that will just melt your heart! Wow!! what an awesome feeling!

On Friday i helped Neil work on the boat and sourced lead for weights we need for a group of 19 tourists coming in next week. Later that evening i picked Jamie and Emily up and made our way to the King Solomon Hotel for karaoke evening that they have every Friday night. it was so much fun there, i made so many new friends and met a few interesting people! I was wearing a Spring bok jersey because we had just won a very close game against Samoa. So many locals came up to me and congratulated me on our win, it was such a cool feeling.... Yeeesssss boys!!!

On Saturday Neil and i completed our work on the boat and went out to Bonegi Beach to complete a dive required for my Advanced Diving course. i needed to dive to a depth of 30m which i basically do everyday. it was a piece of cake =D we worked out that i breathe 15.4L of air every minute at depth :P i really enjoy getting into the technical side of things. Later on that evening we had Ally, Henk, Barbra and Sam over  to watch the England and Scotland rugby game and then for supper, which is always amazing. I then went to Emily's house with a few beers and said good bye to her with it being her last day here. it's sad to see her go :'( she's very nice girl but i wish her luck on her medical journeys, she's going to save many lives one day.

Here are some pics from the last few days, please enjoy:

I found Nemo!

Ha ha, taking this picture was so funny because the kids knew i was swimming around taking photo's of everything. My underwater camera has a blinding flash on it. I proceeded to swim above these two and took a photo with them playing with "Nemo". they both got such a fright and quickly looked left and right not realising that i could be above them... haha took them a while to actually spot me =D
